About growth allowance

We always recommend adding a growth allowance of 1 cm. It is important that the allowance is not too large, as rubber boots cannot be adjusted or tightened like regular footwear. Please also note that rubber boots are generally larger and wider compared to other types of shoes.

If a rubber boot is too large, it may cause increased wear, as the child will slide up and down inside the boot. At the same time, the child uses unnecessary energy to keep the boots in place. If the boot is too large, we recommend adding an extra wool insole, which both provides warmth and improves the fit. Alternatively, a thick sock or wool sock can be used.
