We have received enquiries from concerned parents after reports that some membranes contain traces of fluorinated substances (PFAS) used to achieve waterproofing. We have thoroughly investigated this and carried out additional testing. You can therefore feel confident choosing waterproof shoes with our TEX membrane, as they are carefully tested for harmful substances.

Our membrane is both PFC-free and PTFE-free. We have also tested our waterproofing treatment, which is likewise free from PFC and PTFE.
